i have a classic fj-60 with a chev 350 v8. the conversion was done 10 yrs ago. the rig has 197K total miles on it. i recently had the head gaskets replaced and it runs great. some typical rust on the wheel wells. it also has some rust on the inside of the doors. it has 33" tires interior is complete and is in ok shape. it needs a battery and you're good to go.

I think I bit off a bit more than I can chew with this, so I'm putting it out there as a feeler for sale or trade. It's an 83 FJ60, low miles (157k), stock 2F and 4 speed transmission (if you know TLC's, you know this will run for 300k+ without much work or you can swap in a huge variety of engines and transmissions). It's originally blue but the paint is in rough shape. I was planning a full paint job, but alas, time and $ got away from me. Update: New Suspension, Price... 2/4/11
This is feeler of sorts for my 3b powered 60. I picked the truck up a few months ago and love it, but am looking into buying a house, and don't have the need for two vehicles.
Originally a west coast vehicle, the truck is virtually rust free, there are two very small spots above each rear window along the rain gutters, they are easily taken care of, and not bad at all. Frame is good, no rot. Body is in pretty good shape, a few small dents and scratches,but nothing major, definatly presentable for the age.
Has a 3b/h55f swap that runs great. The truck is a bit of a dog on the highway, but plenty torquey around town. A re-gear would be a great upgrade, and is about the only thing left I would...
I am looking to possibly sell my FJ60. I bought this rig from the original owner about one year ago. This is an original California rig and has only spent this winter in Indiana.

I have used this as my D/D for the past year. It runs just fine.
Just put new radiator hoses and a heater core in.
Just put a new battery and terminals in.
Just had the coolant system flushed.
Putting in new plugs, wires, cap and rotor and fuel filter this weekend.
No rust - with the exception of some surface rust starting to develop on the wheels.
Tires have plenty of tread left.
Everything is original except for radio and other maintenance items.
Interior is in good shape, headliner has no rips or tears.

With mixed feelings, up for grabs anyway is my 1984 LHD Canadian BJ60. I purchased this rig early this year with the intention of keeping her for a long time. Since then I’ve re-evaluated our vehicle situation after finding out we’re expecting our 2nd baby in the new year. We currently have a 2 year old as well. For sale is a 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62. It has 184,000 original miles. Two-tone blue paint. Body is overall in decent shape with the typical rust spots. Rear driver's side fender is rusted. Engine starts everytime with no problems at all. The truck can be used as a daily driver or for off roading. It has 31" BF Goodrich tires. New rear brake pads. Interior is in good shape no rips in carpet or headliner. The only reason I'm selling it is because I just baught another one. Transmission was serviced in the fall. Asking $3500 or best offer.
