Posting this over here to see if I can get some feedback on these two trucks. How much should the fact with no top devalue the truck? I know there aren't a lot of pictures, but just overall impressions of price would be great. I am not sure if the diesel engines add value or not. There is also another one from the same seller, but red: Thanks in advance for any help!
1974 FJ40 SOCAL (Inland Empire) (off the market)
Up for sale is my 1974 FJ40. Purchased it in 2013 from a gentleman in the Tacoma/ Seattle area who received it as payment for some work he did for a client. The cruiser was bone stock when I received it, and I upgraded a few things. I am selling because I have other expenses I need to pay for. Here are my modifications: -34 x 9.50 TSL Super Swampers with OEM welded rims -Man-O-Fre Mojave 4” lift kit with front shackle reversal. (as a note the springs on the back inverted and may need to be replaced), I had the springs re-arched, and the inverted again, so I removed a leaf or two and it seems to be ok although I haven’t done any real wheeling with them. - Tom Woods custom Drive shaft -OME shocks and steering stabilizer -SOR rear...
1968 FJ40 - So Cal
Disclaimer: I am not a Toyota FJ40 expert. I will answer all and any questions you may have to the best of my ability and will provide pictures upon request. I acquired this FJ in exchange for some work that I did for a homeowner. My initial desire was to restore it into an off road rig for my son. I quickly realized that I don’t have the time or true skill to complete such a task so I’ve decided to part ways with it. 1968 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser Project - Project - Project - Project - Project The asking price of this FJ40 Is considering the fact that it will need a hood and fenders if you decide to get rid of the fiberglass front. The FJ40 is currently California registered and has a clean title. I acquired the vehicle from the...
May be for sale 75 FJ40
I'm at a cross roads and need to decide to keep working on her or sell her. She is out of Georgia, all serial numbers match(frame, body, motor). A few years ago when I bought her, it looked like she was going to become a camo FJ40(green and black paint was in the back), she is ugly the yellow got covered up. Engine and drive train are all good now, new full exhaust, started on the electrical. Driver and passenger doors have bottoms rotted out. Apparently not mud ridden, frame and under carriage have surface rust but solid. Few pin holes in the rear ambulance door bottoms. Top is in good shape, dings need to be straightened out on the drip rail. I've been driving her, but what is she worth to sell in this condition? Should I...

I've listed a dozen or more vehicles on Bring-A-Trailer. The folks there do an excellent job and I much prefer it to other Auction options. If you are NEW to BaT and considering Bring-A-Trailer to sell your Land Cruiser, you can earn $50 when you tell them I referred you. This is for "first-time" sellers only. When your vehicle goes live as a BaT Auction! - BaT will send me a $100 check and I will in turn send you a $50 check for your referral and the other $50 will go to support TLCA, IH8MUD and Land Cruiser events. It's a win win! Good luck with your Auction. Greg Overton Land Cruiser Nation www.lcnation.com

Hello! I was directed to this website by a kind FJ40 enthusiast like myself. I was told this is a great community and that I should ask. I’m looking for an FJ40 Landcruiser just like a lot of people seems like. This is a project car I want to do with my dad and slowly but surely bring it up to museum quality or as close to to as possible. I’m willing to drive to...

Thanks everyone for the help as I think I’m getting closer to buying my first FJ40. Found the one below and think I’m ready to pull the trigger on it. Before I do, is there anything that you guys see here that I should be aware of in the pictures? Any questions that I should specifically be asking based on the post? The seller seems like a real straight guy and he has a lot of knowledge on the rig. He even sent a video of it starting up and it sounded great. Pretty excited to enter the world of 40 ownership...just unsure what to look for. Thanks in advance for the help! https://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/d/raleigh-1972-landcruiser-fj-40-great/6909265886.html
