Hello everybody.
New guy in the forum, again, and I have another find that I am wondering about. It is close to home, so i can go and actually look at it and drive it. My question is, Is it worth the price? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Nope. Crappy respray. I would like to see more up close pics. Looks to me that the rear sill is suspect. It's a good chance that thing is a bondo machine. I wouldn't pay half that for the rig. You can see that he/she didn't even sand down the bezel before painting it white. Weatherstrip has been painted green in spots. Hinges were obviously never removed which more than likely means it was never removed. What is lying underneath???? Things like this take HUGE points off when I try and assess the value of a vehicle. If they can't sand properly what else have they cut corners on???

Be patient. You'll find the right one. I suggest looking for a 100% original one and safe a few thousand to get it 100% road worthy. When you start looking at ANY collector car in this price range you can easily get caught up with "shiny paint syndrome" and basically purchase a "pig with lipstick". If you start with an original paint rig you know what you are getting and can always get the paint and body done at a later date.
