Selling 1984 FJ45 Troopy.
Nothing fancy. It has 2F engine driven 263k KMs. 4 speed manual transmission. 4x4. Full Floater rear end.
All factory seats.
Factory split wheels with farm-like tires.
The driver side rear panels and the driver side roof top is bent-damaged. I do not know what has caused the side to get damaged. This would be a great candidate for the roof top tent conversion or soft top if you see that the side panels are very damaged. It doesn't affect the drive in any way.. please see photos..
The driver door needs to be replaced or repaired because of a small gap between the door and the windshield frame..
The driver and passenger side floors are strong. The center rear floor is strong and solid...

I purchased this truck from a customer of mine about a year ago. I've become absolutely overwhelmed with work and with good conscience can't start this project before finishing the 10+ customer builds I've accepted :(
I'm into it 35K and would like near that.
The vehicle is a project but runs well and drives surprisingly amazing. Imported from the Netherlands with foreign dutch title and all import paperwork. I can get an Oregon title easily if need be. So far that's been on the back burner but should take less than a month or two with my dealer license.

Not mine, but I'm curious what others think about this. Is it really an HJ47? I haven't found any other HJ47's listed online with the full backseat or backend that looks like this. I'm not a Land Cruiser expert, but I'd like some thoughts and opinions from others on this.

Selling my Land Cruiser, mostly because my back is telling me that I need comfort. I have owned it close to 6 years, been driving it almost 4 years.
I started with a very good solid frame and put all of the old stuff back on. The cowling are tub are rebuilt from other land cruisers. I have spent over 20k on it, and it is a
diesel daily driver that is a pleasure to drive. But, I bought a 2011 Tacoma off road, and it is time to let someone else enjoy it.

I always find it humorous when vehicles like this are advertised in CA from out of state - they're usually very suspect and incredibly overpriced.
Look at the front drivers side shackles - you think you'd fix that before listing the truck?
But hey, maybe if we list it in CA a rich guy will buy it sight unseen, and let's put a Barrett Jackson License Plate on it.

This 1963 land cruiser fj45 truck is extremely rare, with the split rear window and tool box under driver's seat. Comes with stock running gear, original seats, windshield wiper motors, and original fj45 doors with bug catcher vent windows. The cab is in surprisingly great shape with solid floorboards and uncut dash. I removed the glove box lid to lubricate arms so it will open properly. Hood is bent but fj40 hood can replace. The bed is rusty but rear lenses are intact. Super rare. Hillbillies installed a spring over suspension, easily reversed. The body was removed from the frame prior to being stripped, coated with DP90 primer, and painted in two-stage Antique Sage Pearl. Additional work consisted of shortening the bed approximately 18″ as well as applying a LineX coating to the top and bottom of the tub and fabricating a pair of steel half-doors. Features include custom front and rear bumpers, a Warn 8k-pound winch with a synthetic rope, a roll cage, flat fender flares, and a bikini top. I have a 1985 bj46 left hand drive. I am asking $15000.00 It has a 3b and 4 speed. I bought it last year and I am selling it because I just don’t drive it. It runs and drives fine. Not mine, just posting for reference. I drove all night from CO to Idaho for this one, it was listed for $2500 and I was all over it. Then the guy calls back and says people are offering him $10k plus for it, sight unseen. Well I saw it and $2500 is the right price, he was stuck on $10k, we parted ways. Soggy truck, wet, moldy and rusty. Lots of things taken apart and pieces missing. The search continues...

Our FJ45 didn't sell on BaT in November, but we are still interested in selling/trading and moving into something for family friendly (we are 6 now). All the information I could think of is in the BaT ad linked here , but if anyone has more specific questions that weren't there, I can dig them up and answer them. I am looking to get somewhere in the $50k range. Trade-wise, Ideally a FJ45 troopy or nice FJ40 with jump seats, in similar condition. Ideally left hand drive. Let me know what you got, thanks.
