thinking I’ll move forward with offering a project ‘77 FJ45/donor ‘82 BJ42 in southern BC. < 1hr from Oroville/Osoyoos border crossing. Both start, move, stop under their own power. I’ve driven this truck all over with no problems. Runs strong. It burns a little oil and the power steering gear weeps fluid out the input shaft. I just refill, drive and enjoy. I resealed every oil leak on the motor this spring. I replaced the entire cooling system a few years ago. Radiator to water pump. I have a build thread I’ll link that I’ve documented most of the stuff that I’ve done to it.

1982 FJ45 Troopy. Super cool truck, original paint and about as solid as you will find. Runs and drives excellent. Factory AC truck. 2F 4spd, RHD from Australia. 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup FJ45 4x4 powered by 2F 4.2L and 4 speed manual. The truck was imported from the Middle East and its title & was registered in Texas. No AC or Power Steering.
Mechanical Condition: Overall, this truck sounds good. The engine is strong and plenty of torque. No smoke or oil leakages. The 4speed transmission shifts fine and no issues (besides a missing flywheel bell cover under which I might purchase and install before selling, see link below*).
Cosmetic Condition: The truck was repainted Sage green/tan over the original color (blue) and it can be seen all over the body ( engine bay, where paint is chipped, and other spots poorly painted). The current paint job is mediocre and it’s overplayed in spots...

This a 1977 FJ45 Land Cruiser that is built on the chassis of a 1991 FJ80 Land Cruiser. This vehicle comes with two clean titles; one for the 1977 FJ45 and one for the 1991 FJ80. The FJ80 was from Tennessee before parted out because of a blown head gasket with less than 200k miles. The previous owner purchased this truck mostly as you see it in the photos, off IH8MUD.com in Dec of 2021 from the individual who bought the FJ45 out of the Pacific Northwest and had the truck built.

Hey folks. I know this is a long shot but in 2018 I sold a 1978 FJ45 with a 3b engine. I saved this truck from the junk yard and was hoping to try to buy it back. 1974 Toyota Landcruiser FJ43. Imported from Colombia in 2017. Then sat in storage until 2019. Finally registered in 2019 and driven from northern VA to Richmond VA. 1. All original engine; spark plugs and cabling all replaced prior to export.
