Extra Bolt for Transfer Case Protection

I am reassembling the armor under the truck after months of having it off. I should have taken a photograph, becauseI have an extra bolt. There is an empty boss on the transfer case but I don't appear to have anything to bolt to it. Does anyone know what this is for?

That extra boss is not ringing a bell, but no skids plates should bolt to the aluminum housing of the tcase.

I figured out the problem...wrong forum! This is for my LX570. Sorry gents.
