Vehicle Model
  1. 40 Series
Location
Richmond, Virginia United States
Color
rgb(209, 203, 146)
For Sale (located in VA):

1974 Toyota Landcruiser FJ43. Imported from Colombia in 2017. Then sat in storage until 2019. Finally registered in 2019 and driven from northern VA to Richmond VA. All original paper and provenance documentation in hand and comes with the vehicle. Original OEM, MPR brand hard top included. 2F motor.

The good:
1. All original engine; spark plugs and cabling all replaced prior to export.
2. Seat belts all work and were added to the back turn down seats.
3. Seal just above the hood below the window was redone in 2017 prior to export (used to leak pretty heavily).
4. Spare tire in the same big size as the rest of the vehicle.
5. Replacement gas tank installed in 2017
6. Cover was bought new in 2019.
7. Will throw in user's manual, etc.

The bad:
1. Was running through 2020 until the slave cyclinder broke down. Am working with a local vendor to try and get it back to running state.
2. Non-power steering, original drum brakes (could be a good thing if you like to feel the excitement of a lifted vehicle pulling in one direction when braking).
3. Seals on the doors intact but should be replaced.
4. Just below the carb gets a bit sweaty after running for a while.

Goals --- Asking $15k but open to offers. Send a message if interested.

Some updates. Truck is running and running well. I've thrown money at fixing the clutch (the slave cylinder had issues). The breaks (drum) are being adjusted and balanced. The compression of the engine is at 170-185 psi across all the cylinders and runs well. Please DM if you'd like to see it and have a serious offer.

I also got my dates wrong so updated vehicle information below:
