Greetings all, I have lowered the price on my BJ to $13,000. Check out the CL listing: 1981 Toyota Landcruiser BJ44 It does have some rust which I have tried to represent as honestly as I can in the photos. Would be best for whoever gets it to see it in person first. Don't really want to put it on Ebay so hopefully it can find a good home. Cheers!
I have been drooling over these forums for a couple of years now and thought someone might be interested in my old girl as I am thinking of selling sometime soon. I am the second owner of this vehicle, the original owner purchased it new and sold it to me in 2007. The truck is in very good original condition and has lived in the inland Australian region of Canberra until last year - which goes some way to explaining the lack of rust in the vehicle. I have original receipts for underbody rustproofing done when the car was new and in the mid 80's. I also have receipts/manuals for the "Warn" hubs, "All Car" air conditioning and 8000lb Thomas PTO winch in addition to the original owners and repair manuals. The truck has been serviced...
1966 FJ45 Project Truck
I picked this truck up from Georg (Orangefj45) some time back with big plans unfortunately I have big plans for a lot of different rigs so I need to thin the heard so I can spend more time getting them road worthy then looking at them. Truck is a 1966 sitting in rattle can primer. Body is in good condition and has boxes--and I do mean boxes of parts to go with. Only thing different from when I bought the truck is that is has different door that are in good shape---need to rob the doors for an earlier project. In addition I am going to include all the mechanicals that I recently pulled from by Blue SWB 45 (SWB 45 Build for Expedition) which I drove for roughly 500 miles so I know things work. This includes engine...

1981 BJ42 3B Diesel/4speed
The family is outgrowing our cruiser... this was my daily driver (avg 29 MPG) until I decided to get the exterior fixed up. I have put in new front fenders and front bib. New windshield and windshield frame. Aluminum TUB from firewall back. Over $12000 spent on new body parts and paint alone. All new Stainless Steel bolts and screws. New door seals, windshield seals. Always been garaged since the rebirthing began. There is no rust anywhere on the body, frame and undercarriage have usual surface rust, so it could use a undercoating. 3B diesel runs strong with no smoke. Does not burn oil, but sweats a little from the oil pan and the usual spot from the vent pipe. I never had to add any oil between changes (every 3000 miles/5000...
