This car is fast for a landcruiser and gets great mileage. Can run on diesel or biodiesel or any combination of the two.
It loves biodiesel, which I purchase from one of several USA Petroleum stations in town. In the videos, it's probably running on B20. I've never run it on grease, only the certified, processed biodiesel.
Diesels were not sold in the US. This one is from Canada. You can also get BJ42's from Guatemala and other Central American countries.
The car was featured recently on Robert Redfords show on Sundance Channel called "The Green" about stylish...

This is my boss's restored/rebuilt 1965 FJ45 pickup. Has 88K miles, runs great, in great shape. $15,000.

This vehicle is built on an original FJ45 frame, with orginal bed and cab. The axles, motor, trans, and floorpan are out of a 1974 FJ40. The owner had it rebuilt in the 90s because he wanted disc brakes, and a 4 on the floor transmission.

For Sale or Trade 1984 FJ45 Troopy Fort Collins, CO
I hate to do this but, the Troopy is going up for sale. It is a 1984 FJ45 Troopy. I started to restore this but have run out of money. It is a RHD gasser from Australia with a full floater rear end. It has power steering but no AC. It has the factory disc brakes. It has been my daily driver for about a year and a half now. The odometer stuck but I would guess it has about 285,000 KM's on it as I only drive it about 6 miles a day. Runs great. It has a propane conversion kit that is great on mileage and in the mountains. It has no problems on the interstate or at high elevations.
What I have done to it:

Carb Rebuild
New Propane switches.
ARB Front Bumper
IPF Head Lights...

I have a 1981 TLC BJ42 parts truck that I am looking to sell. I recently imported the vehicle from Canada into the US with the intention of using the 3B to perform an engine swap in a late model 40 series cruiser.
I have all the appropriate paper work required to register the vehicle in the states, although the body is virtually useless as a result of cancerous rust. The frame too is beginning to show signs of failing integrity.
The value of this vehicle lies within the drivetrain; all stock, 3B, 4speed H42 transmission, stock rear diff, output shafts etc.
