I have a 1981 BJ42, ground-up resto in '05 by Hilltopcruisers.com. CT-26 turbo/custom intercooler, PS, Toyota 5-speed, A/C, 36,000km since resto. All original Toyota except intercooler and a/c. No leaks, runs fantastic, some surface rust starting in usual places. Moving to England or I would never sell it. $28,000 firm.

What color is the truck?

I ask because the shot of the engine bay looks like the truck is/was Gray?

interesting....

Hi Jon,
The truck is Safari tan. Not sure why the engine was painted the way it was.
The pic with the hood open showing the turbo and intercooler is from another of Ryan Myhr's projects, an RJ45 with turbodiesel. My truck is the same but I didn't have a picture. m

sandwich,
when you get back you better organize your L/C portfolio. Anyone that has a rig as you say you do will have photos and a folder so full of information you cannot remember everything.
When listing an engine as you say you really should post acurate photos of it, not your friends. It can be misleading.

One thing to remember when posting on MUD, better not leave out details or try to be sneaky, you'll never fool us...
There are way too many cruiser nuts on board here:grinpimp:

Not a scam. I'm leaving town for a few weeks and posted these. Further pics if you want them when I get back.

is it a bad thing that I noticed at first a round bezel on the engine bay and square on the other pic and got suspicious before I even noticed the different color?

I don't even own a cruiser (yet!)
