EDIT: SOLD I'm selling my 1980 HJ47 Troop Carrier. I've got 4 kids under the age of 5 and just don't get to drive it ever. The previous owner swapped out the H engine for a 2H engine and rebuilt everything about 26,000 miles ago. I imported it from Australia, but now have it titled in Texas. It has a snorkel, lockers front and rear, roo bar, 2 batteries, 2 alternators, and 25 gal aux fuel tank. I recently added a bestop seat with 4-point harnesses so it would be legal for some of the kids to ride. I'm located in Houston, Texas. Asking $20,000. Good Afternoon I have decided to sell my 1984 Toyota BJ42 Landcruiser. Its one of only 132 ever imported to North American and I believe the last year Its a Diesel with 5 speed transmission. Runs and drives perfect only 74kms. Its beige and all glass is good. Underside is very clean Frame seems mint. The tub is perfect from 5 feet away but can be picked apart up close. It has been painted many years ago. Starts perfect no smoke. Tires are brand new and rims are ideally suited aftermarket. Shes 99% all original. and is great shape. I bought it to try and keep it in the Land Cruiser community. I have so many rigs right now I am passing this one on to someone who could use it. Originally a Netherlands rig brought here by a couple touring the USA, now titled in WA branded, not sure why. The truck runs great drivetrain is solid, body is rough, frame is rough but salvageable. I have an 82 and 81 truck for sale. 82 has power steering. Problems with 82: Transmission pops out of first gear if not engaged. Transfer case needs cajoling to shift between 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive. Bed has rust and diamond plate welded over it. Welded in new floor pans. 81 has no problems. Govt truck and is in great condition. Trucks located in Chattanooga,TN. Both trucks run fine and have been driven 45 minute trips with no issues. First pics are of 82.

I have available one of the trucks we restored from a year ago. It was a frame on restoration nearly full repaint inside and out of strong running FJ43. This is later model with gas tank below. Hi everyone, On my way home this afternoon I spotted this 43 at a used car lot in NJ. From what I could see, it was beautiful. The frame was so clean you could eat off of it.
