Heather,

I know you hate to sell your baby.....you've worked so hard and we've all benefited from your posts along the way. I'm at a loss for words and I wish there was a way you could keep this incredible rig. Good luck and cheers, Dave

Thanks, Dave. But for now, it's the right thing to do. I've had a great time learning about trucks and this one specifically. I am sure that I'll want to do another one some day.

By the way, I know that $25K is way too much to ask from MUD folks. That's why I said that I would take less. I am shooting high, but I'm not nuts! I am going to ebay it at some point after I do some digging locally for a buyer.

I've seen the transformation of this Pig in person - it is NICE. I will personally attest to it being a fine swine. It drove to GSMTR last year great, right through ATL rush hour traffic and up the mountain.

Get rid of the BMW and keep the pig;):D:D

I'm with John on this. The BMW will probably get more money and it will quickly loose value being so new.

Is this a poll..... I will give a third "lose the beamer".Good luck!

Well, as much as I would like to say that would work, I won't make diddly on that BMW...it's a lease. So I'll just lose my ass on it if I turn it in early. The way I look at it is that the pig has given me something I'd never had before, an education, a lot of satisfaction, and some really good times. Now it's time for me to pass that on to someone and it can give me part of the down payment on my next house.

It's a good pig for it's sacrifice!

but "everything is big in Texas" - no ? surely you could find a way to keep the vehicles there

just take a couple road trips to transfer the vehicles - that's what we did when I moved from Omaha to Baton Rouge a few years ago :D

good luck with the new job

Believe me, it's not like I wouldn't like to keep it...I so would. Who knows what will happen. It's not like it's on a firesale or anything. It's not a cheap pig and it's going to take the right person to want it.

I work for a big Engineering, Architecture, Design, Planning and Environmental firm. I work on the Environmental side of our business and right now run our operations in GA and AL. My degree is in Botany and I am mostly a Wetlands Biologist by training.

Yo yo yo,

K9 don't be putting your pig on the block. You have invested alot of BS&T making it probably the nicest pig within many many many miles. Other crap will come and go...but sweet pork is hard to find...please reconsider this divestiture.

BTW...I am 25+ years (not gonna show my age) in the environmental business myself. Env Eng. by skewling...consulting for a dozen years then went to work for the client in 94. Been there ever since. I use Brown and Caldwell (mainly the former Eckenfelder squad/piece of the puzzle) on my Superfund Site in Montgomery. Mainly out of their Nashville office but know quite a few out of their Atlanta office. Also, did a ton of work (OK spent a ton of $$$) with King and Spaudling's Atlanta (and DC) offices...on the aformentioned Montgomery Site.

KEEP YOUR PIGGIE !!!!

You and I probably know some of the same folks! I was with ENSR and now with AECOM. B&C came after me a year or so ago and wanted me to run their environmental group in Atlanta (not a good fit for either of us at the time). Small world!!!

As far as the pig goes, we'll see what happens. I've had one guy come and look at it and he seemed to really like it, but it might not be exactly what he had in mind (which was a 60 series). I haven't listed it anywhere but here and then let some folks know by word of mouth. I really do hate to see it go, but if I move out of state, it's going to be hard.

Damn Heather. Find a way to keep that pig. After all the crap you went through getting the paint and body work finished - it's time to enjoy a fine ride and a fine pig. It would fit in well in Texas.

Well, this I can promise. I am not giving it away just so I don't have to move it. What's another $1000 on a car hauler, right? I already have 2 to ship. The one thing I'll promise is that I won't sell it just to sell it. It's gotta bring the right price and get a good home.
