Wanted a bumper that got me exterior fuel can carry capacity on the driver's side for 20 gallons, effectively giving me a second full tank; reduced my overhang, and still allowed me to tow. The build is being done for me by Kenny Belt at Wits End Fabrication in Severn, MD. On to the pics:

Looking nice!

Nice progress.
Do you just notch on the floor? Or is that just a fluke photo?

(Also, can't help but notice the Fett Family! Awesome! I thought Leia liked Han...)

Not sure what you mean by the floor. What you may be seeing is the new crossmember Kenny put in forward of where the old one is. No plate on this yet. He's working that all tomorrow. Right now it's all just pipe. Once I get more pics I'll post em up.

Leia was a tease :) She'd have gone with Boba if she met him first :D

Is your plan to siphon into the gas filler while leaving the cans in place? Do you expect a bit of rear squat with 20 gal in the cans (120 lbs of fuel hanging off the back) and a full tank?

The future location for the spare is? What is the heaviest thing you plan to tow?

Cool. Keep the pics coming?

The plan is definitely to siphon direct from the cans into the tank. The spare was previously located to the interior with a mount on the passenger side. The suspension should handle everything just fine with the OME heavy suspension that is under there already and I wont be towing anything over 3k and even that on the very rarest of occasions, in fact I can't remember towing anything over 1500lbs in years. The "shelf" that holds the cans will also be supported with angled gussets down to the swing arm.

What is also there but not obvious is a new cross-member that is pushed forward of where the original was that will tie into the hitch receiver that comes through the bumper.

Valid and I did have some concern initially, but kenny put an upward angle on it so that it can flex. Isn't really evident in the pics, he also opened it up to make corrections to it anytime just by dropping in his shop if the design isn't working out.

I like it - a rear bumper is slowly becoming something I think I want to get to so thx for posting.

Regardless, the last two pics in post #11 show your plate. Seems as though you're trying to block out in other pics so thought you might like to know in case you want to edit.
