Ok so my front tow hooks are missing on my
94. I jus bought some from SOR and compared my new hooks to a friends 91 cruiser and it looks like there is a left and right side hook. I have a pic attached below, is this what it's supposed to look like? Or is this 91's hook installed incorrectly? Can somebody take a look at theirs for me? Thanks

Got me curious so I just walked outside to look at the hooks on the front of my 91 and both hooks are on the same side of the frame. Not side specific. Both loops offset to the drivers side of each respective frame rail.

Never really paid attention before now. Looks like they can be gotten to be for either side, but mine are just alike.

I've been looking for that tow hook where the loop is on the right side. I had some custom made to gain more clearance for my front and rear hitches. Just curious if our part gurus has a part number for that.

Hummm, interesting. Mine has the brush guard so let me see if these would fit

Those tundra loops look beefy and direct fit. Are they also lower profile?

I thought those hooks were tie downs for the boat ride from Mr. T's factory.

Mr Snake Eater, your Tundra hooks look pretty strong. Are they Toyota made ? Do you have the toy part number in that case ?

Thanks a lot

Forget the PN, do you have more pics of that Tundra? That thing is a beast!!

On my 94 fronts both go to the inside on the rear both hang to the outside

dang, i just tried them on and it looks like it wont fit in there with that brush guard in place. i know i have seen cruisers with the brush guard and tow hook in place. anybody have that setup?

so your hooks are side specific on the 94?

No believe, like my '94 all the "hooks" are bent and shaped in the same orientation, so the so front are offest to one side and the the identical hooks when put on the rear reverse. Clear as mud. IE its same hook front and back.

The solution is longer bolts. Worked with the ARB anyway. Got some from the local Fastenall and they were not cheap.
