read the faq.... there is info there as well

cdan's the man

for me I was going to use the marlin seals, if for no other reason, the 'lip' on the seals makes it easy to see when they were fully seated....

even with that, the 'kit' from cdan was so cost effective i bought his kit AND THEN bought the marlin inner seals separately.

He is an absolute professional!

there is no doubt you will get what you need, exactly what you need, and at a very, very good price.

just my 2 cents

It would be nice if prices were actually posted so we can all actually KNOW who has the same kit for less $$

agreed!
if i had my invoices handy I'd post what I paid...
not sure if that's taboo or not....
I'm new here...

The first purchase I made from dan was the rebuild kit so I know I didn't get any kind of 'special' discount...He didn't/doesn't know me from adam....

I THINK he's got a general 'mud user' price level he gives to well..mud users..

and my frame of reference for price points is calling other local oem dealers for the same parts.

Even after shipping Dan's price was far better than any of the local dealers.

Pretty simple:

It's not the "same" unless it's factory parts.

My experience with dan has also been nothing but awesome I was just checking to see who else had the kit's cause I always price everything first and I know that American Toyota doesn't have the upgraded seals.

My experience with CDan is awesome. He is always very professional and patient.

I will order the same kit soon. Like to know the upgraded seals too. Thanks.

consider getting the seal install tool. they run less than $15 and I wish I had gotten one... putting the seals in was my least favorite part of the whole rebuild.

Touché

Although there is still the issue of the upgraded seals

The upgraded seals from Marlin look nothing like the OEM Toyota inner seals. They are completely different.

That said, Marlin makes good products for the mini-truck market. I would assume his 80 series inner seal is also of good quality.
