I have nothing but good to say about CDan and his service/prices. I have always got what I have needed and he has given me mounds of helpful advice and he is very patient with newbies although I'd imagine his patients might run a little thin during inventory. :D

There have been times when I thought I needed certain parts for my application and he could have easily sold them to me, but he gave me his honest professional opinion with alternate options.

If I had to do my front axle all over again the only change I would make is the marlin seals in addition to Dan's kit.

If I lived in UT and I needed parts in a hurry I would probably go with Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. I have heard nothing but good about his service too.

cdan that way you know you will get everything right to the front door...

Couldn't agree more!

So he's got inventory this week. No wonder his vm says he's at the dealer but will have limited access to the phone!

thanks for the pm, just replied.:)

CDan + Slee for the Marlin Seals.

Dan had the kit to me with factory parts in two days.

Slee sells the Marlin seals for list price, but the shipping was half of Marlin's. Slee also sell a seal installation tool that made putting them in soooo easy.

Talk to Georg at Valley Hybrids. He's got the whole set up with the Marlin seals. From what I remember it was better than what CDan had.
On the recommendation of NLXTACY, I called Valley Hybrid and got the kit with the Marlin seals and Koyo bearings. George was very knowledgeable, nice guy and shipped the kit the same day. All around $200 plus shipping. Thanks for the rec.

I got my rebuild kit with all Koyo bearings from Just Differentals. Got the MC inner axle seal from Slee. I would use both companies again, but I would never just order the seals by themselves ever again. It cost just as much for shipping as it did for the seal!

thanks again for the order. glad to hear you're happy with the parts and service provided.

While Dan might or might not be patient during inventory, he has "patience". You have patients.

The fact that you can ship the MC seals and a rebuild kit together, orangefj45, is a huge motivator to go with you next time.

thanks a bunch!

having the MC seals on hand along with all the other parts really serves a dual-purpose for shops like mine:
1) i need to have all the parts on hand in case a customer wants to buy everything and anything they need to successfully complete a knuckle rebuild. so i aim to be a "one-stop-shop". i generally try my best to keep knuckle kits, wheel bearing kits, spindle lock and nut kits, hub studs, cone washers, caliper bolts, packing plates, HD inner seals, HD oem toyota studs as well as all the tools like the special sockets, fish scales, seal install tools and snap ring pliers on hand as long as they are avaiable from the different vendors and suppliers.
2) i do a lot of knuckle rebuilds, gear swaps and disc brake conversions at the shop so i need the parts on hand. nothing like having to wait for a pair of seals to show up...........

i work only on cruisers so having these parts on hand is essential to my business.

right now, the 80 kits are hard to come by and they won't be coming back in for at least a month. i sold my last one today.........

but if you guys need one, try kurt at cruiser outfitters. i just got off tyhe phone with him and he has a few on hand. his service is great, so are his parts. and you'll be supporting a fellow cruiser-head and long term mudder.

thanks again!!!!!

i keep plenty of the stock studs on hand but the ARPs i usually order from partsmike when i need them. i guess i should start stocking them as well.......

thanks for asking though!
