Just some eye candy. I was in Barquisimeto, in Venezuela, to meet a Land Cruiser guy that contacted us on facebook, and it turned out that he is a salesman for a bumper factory that makes bumpers exclusively for Land Cruisers and Hiluxes. But they also make sliders, roof tent racks for pickups and even armor for whatever car you may have, because in Venezuela it's not always safe to be rich.
But enough talking. Here are some pics from the factory. By the way, they sell through all of South America and even to places like Dubai.
They are called Proline and have a website. By the way, this is not some commercial talk, but I like the things they make and I'm just enthusiastic about it.:D

Maybe I'm wrong

Here is the link so other people don't have to google

Bienvenido a Proline

No, but they have. There's a lot of 60's (they call them Samurai) driving around in Venezuela. But they had nothing laying around at that moment.
Hey, thanx for the link. I couldn't find their card.

No problem. It took me a second to find it.

"proline" by itself brings up a bunch of stuff. Mostly RC car parts lol

but "proline venezuela" ding ding ding :)

Yeah, Venezuela still isn't into internet that much.

nice designs!! might be useful for fortuner / 4 runners too.

They make them for every model you want. When I was there, they were just making a rear bumper and some armor for the radiator/engine for a Ford F250, for example. Within three days they designed it in the lines of the car and produced it!
The guy on the left side of the picture, Greg, is sales manager, and the guy on the right, Daniel, is the designer.

Sounds like someone needs to become the US distributor. Does the current US - Venezuela federal government relationship effect trade/imports?

As you know, Chavez is no friend of the United States. Part of that is because of the US never has known how to politically behave towards other countries, and part of it is because Chavez is a little hurt boy in the body of an adult.
But a lot of people here hope that he really has cancer and will die soon. And after that everything probably will go back to normal.

Translation

Those bumpers really look nice, even if we could ship it here how can we purchase if we could not understand what they are selling it would help if there is some kind of translation to the website.

Tapage can get parts from Venezuela but the import fees and shipping costs are crazy. I really like the looks of that stuff. Outstanding.

You're right. I'll tell them

Really?!? Nevermind. We just don't need to go there or we will get banished to chat.

Lets hope the trade relations normalize ASAP one way or another so everyone benefits.

Haha, yeah, really. But indeed, we don't want to be banned to the chat section:)

Venezuela have some really nice stuff for the offroad world .. but as been said .. damn complicated to export / import .. which its part of the reason they are doing good stuff in there ..
