Finally! I got my 33's, got them mounted on my rims (which I stole off my 83pu parts truck -blasted and had painted)

Threw them on today and I love 'em!

Bone stock BJ60, no rubbing! Definately louder than the old tires, but I could care less!!

oh yea it looks a little chilly there...

Nice! Looks great!

Isnt it amazing what a HUGE difference 33's and 35's make on these rigs? Lookin' good bro!

Starting to kick myself for buying five 31s . . .

Here are my 31x10.5s for comparison (on a stock, saggy suspension)

By the way, are those 33x12.5s?

Having the buyers remorse on my 31's

Looks awesome!!!

Mine are 33 x 12.5 x 15" - Next on the list is the "little lift" Definately not going SOA, I don't want that much lift, or the hassle from my insurance company. I'd like to just do a shackle lift, but at the worst I'd go for new leafs.

Any suggestions for a small shackle lift? (and what all is involved besides replacing the shackles? - like shocks/brake lines/steering linkages?)

Would it be horrible if I made my own? (I do have fabrication skills) Can I safely lift two or so inches without screwing up driveline angles/steering?

Oh, and before that - I'm Blackin' out that front end!!

No actually, it's really warmed up. We lost about a foot of snow in the past week. Average daytime temps have been above 0°C. A few weeks ago we had -15 to -20°C:D

It's been really nice to be able to actually do work outside for a change!

BTW, I didn't mention in the first post, these are from Hi-tech re-treading (treadwright.com) - not affiliated!

Wicked pricing! - I'll be the guinea pig to see how they last.

shackles are easy to do, but keep in mind if you want two inches of lift you need 4 inches longer than stock shackles. Shackles are a cheap lift but they also jsut flatten your spring out. For that little amount of lift and vertually no change in suspension articulation no changes are needed to driveshaft, steering, shocks, etc. You should go wheel those tires and report back how they do

And if my springs are already completely flat.... would it invert them?
