where is your arb compressor mounted??? i can find any free space that i like. im going out to look at it some more. could use some help, thanks

I mounted mine on the passenger side fender about the same spot as Landpimp.

i found a spot, i just took out that smog filter on the driverside. thanks

There's a thread here where someone mounted it behind the left rear kick panel. Out of the elements & out of the way.

That's what I intend to do!

here's one i've made for myself.
i've made a few for others also.

edit: this is in my 60 with a 2f
will also fit with a SBC

Rear quarter panel for me as well. Simple 1/8" plate bracket worked to existing holes.

Bring wiring and air line through drain plug holes with new grommets and a little sealant.

Same as me and I thought the best place in a LWB Cruiser ..

The drain holes are still there. Pull the grommets the same way you would pull the plugs if there was water in the quarter panel. Essentially no difference.

I've got the SROR one

Jim made me one like the one you see above (actually, the one above looks fancier!) It bolts to existing holes in the frame and sits nicely between the inner fender and motor.

being under the hood, it was easy to wire and plumb it.

Anyone making this or a similar mounting platform? Looking for off-the-shelf solution to mounting an ARB compressor and axillary fuse box around the passenger fender area without drilling into metal on the rig.

If you don't use a second battery in the engine compartment, a second battery tray can be mounted on the driver's side and the radiator overflow tank moved over to the passenger side. The second battery tray will give you a big mounting shelf to mount a compressor

I've got an ARB twin under the passenger seat. ARB says they will survive the heat, dust, water, and dirt in the engine bay, but survive does not equal happy. Much happier breathing cool, clean air from inside the vehicle.

You still have this truck/set up? This looks pretty sweet. Wouldn't mind seeing this in person some time. ;)
