Help design a 100 series T-shirt

A good friend of mine has a Cafe Press store with lots of good Cruiser apparel already up and running. I've asked her if I came up with a design if she'd help tweak it and then make shirts/hoodies/etc. available for us. I haven't seen but one or two 100 series shirts and they didn't impress me much.

So, help me out. Here's two quick designs I had, one with a graphic and one just simple. Obviously I'd get permission for the photo (who wouldn't want to be immortalized this way). What do you all say - truck shot, just letters, clever saying? If someone's got mad graphic skills, post up yours!

That design looks pretty kick ass. I get tired of people not making anything for the 100 crowd, like we don't exist or whatever. If you make it, people will buy it.
 
The thing that sucks about Cafe Press is a lot of their shirts are made in China junk. I have an 80 series one and the first time I washed it went from an XL to a S. So if you do this you might want to have your friend specify the Hanes or whatever they are, made in the States regular cotton tees.
 
Great idea, Trunk. I really like that 'UZJ100' graphic. Just as Eric says, I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and have a nicer one. I hate buying crap.
 
think the shirts the have small pictures ( such as members would post a favorite pic of a rig or their's) spelling out a word or a sign. Such as "UZJ-100" would be spelled out in little "100 series owners" pics, and a maybe 4" round TEQ emlem on the back.


Therefor we all have a piece of the action. And can say " hey , my trucks on a friggin shirt!"
 
I would buy one for sure. I'd acutally buy one of each of the two designs. The UZJ100 logo on the front of both, and then one with the "Mall Cruiser" graphics but include the UZJ100 just below or over the graphics.

I think I would put UZJ100 on the front left, with "Land Cruiser" underneath it in smaller letters, and then put the "Which way to the Mall" graphic on the back. My two cents.....
 
I always thought a "Got 2UZFE?" or "Got UZJ100?" would be cool on the chest pocket area of a tee...

Agreed: Good Hundy design on a quality (non-China) tee (SS, LS, Hoody).

Yeah, I'd really go for a heavy weight hoody in a brown or olive green with 100 series stuff on it..... great ideas are rolling here.

Those are mmw68's. I've asked Mark a couple times about doing a similar one for the 100 series, he's done every other series, but nothing yet.

Come on, let's see some more designs . . .

Does he draw the dimension image or is it available somewhere for the 100?

On topic -

Hoodies are always welcome year round. I love hoodies as part of my wardrobe because they can be worn out to eat, or out off roading. Hoodies that support our Toyota lust is even better.... :D

Another design might put a 100 series PIC in the middle of the hoodie, Put LAND CRUISER arched across over the top and to the left of the 100 put "est." and to the right of the 100 put "1951"

Now if someone wanted to mock something like that up..... man that would be a great one in my opinion

How can we get our hands on this great gear once it is ready? The wife will love that purchase... I just recently ordered a shirt from gotcruiser that has the 100 on the back and says "Justified Adddiction". Hope it is not a made in china piece of s***...
 
MMW is working on the 100 shirt. I'm pretty sure the blueprint is ready. I've been hassling him about it and another 100 owner pointed him to this thread to provide some encouragement. Peer pressure is not always a bad thing :)

I like the idea of spelling something out with small photographs of the Ih8mud 100s. Even putting a big "100" on the back with lots of photos of wheeling 100s would be cool.

Hoodies FTW. I dont know how many I have...too many, way too many.
