those are the newer style the older ones were similar but the top loop was welded to the bar should be easy to make if you cant find them good luck

I thought that somebody on here was doing repros on the bars. I think I have a pair of straps, if you want to call me at the shop to try and look for them.

What year is the dividing line between the "older" and "newer" style?

I just remember being a kid and laughing every time I got out of a 40 with straps. First I'd unhook the strap and then I'd open the hinge/bar as if it was a real door. I don't think anyone thought it was funny but me.

Anyone have dimensions?

Thanks 65swb45. I've got a pretty nice pair of straps (much nicer than those in the pic) so I just need the bars. I'd be happy to call if you think you've got 'em. I know you can usually find the rare stuff.
