Hey everyone,

I tried searching for this, found the size for the 80-series and it was wrong. M6x1mm way too small. I've noticed the clunk is more prominent in my LX so I'm lubing up the driveshaft after driving 10K since I got it. However I noticed the zerk is missing for the ujoint at the transfer case. I don't want to drive it until I find a replacement and lube it real good to push out any dirt that got in there.

Anyone know the thread size?

Thanks!

I don't know the size but I found 2 part numbers online, 90416-06004 and 96451-00600. The first part number is about $10 and the second is $2.

Yep. I found those earlier too. Looked them up on eBay and only one showed. It didn't look right. It didn't have thread to it to be screwed in, but looked like it snapped into place? Either way it was in the United Arab Emirates and they had a slightly different setup I believe. I'll just call the dealer to get this handled.

Thanks!

@Blue103 Drop me a PM with your address and I'll mail you a zerk from my old driveshaft.

Pretty sure they're M6x1.0. I just checked my records from when I replaced all of mine and it looks like I bought these:

That's just the zerk fitting itself. On the u-joints, the fittings are screwed into some angle blocks that are press fit into the bodies. That you have to get from Toyota:

I can't believe I didn't get any notifications of the last responses! But BEG is right. It's the push fitting. Not sure how easy that would be for you to get off 87warrior. I have a friend of mine who is an adjuster for State Farm. He also lives in LA where the only warehouse is that has them. Said he can get me one and at a discount. I appreciate it though!

Thanks everyone!

BTW, I'm doing research on how to install this thing. It obviously pushes in, but that's a really tight space in there. It looks like it would just slide right back out (which may be what happened in the first place). Anyone ever install one of these?
