Ok ok har har so it happened twice in a year. I made it over 20 yrs of driving before it happened the first time. Maybe Jason just needs his own 5 gal of gas

I can't even make fun of steves motorcycle years cause he will remind me of my pig years ;)

But once I got going I spotted this couple across the street from my design mtg operating an arborist service out of a restored commando. Pretty cool setup.
Esp the 400' of winch cable extensions and snatch lock setups.

George and Jane. I kid you not. I bet there's a pissed off Tarzan somewhere

I spotted this 60 in the parking lot at work today. I've never seen it before. The tags were brand new and the truck had a thick layer of pollen on it. It had clearly been sitting a while. When I put a card under the wiper, a lot of debris fell out. I left him my work email and was hoping to hear from him but never did.

BTW, that's pollen caked on the hood.

I spotted a lifted and tented GX470 at my daughter's soccer field. I couldn't figure out who drove it. My daughter finished her game and while walking through the parking lot, I decided to check out the stickers on the 470. Lo and behold the owners walked up. I introduced myself and told them all about the group and site. He had never been to mud before. The owner's name is Eric and hopefully he will post an introduction thread. He and his family just finished a trip out west to Wyoming.

I didn't get a pic of the ride but it has a coil spring swap out from air, drawers in the back, front aftermarket bumper, Tepui tent, roof rack with light bar, and 33 inch mud terrains.

Rare, surprising spotting for me last week...new model 70 series pickup double cab. LHD. Squeaky clean. New Government tag in rear window.

On I-77 near LKN, heading southbound. Merged onto 77 behind me from the rest area just north of Cornelius Road, no mistaking that grill and headlights in the rear view, even from a few hundred yards. Exited @ exit 35. Poor guy prob thought I was stalking him, seemed all business, no cruiser acknowledgement rolling in my junk...haha...

A few subpar mobile phone pics for reference...

Eric is a soccer coach at the fields where my daughter plays. I will follow up with him on Saturday and hopefully get him to post an intro thread.

I saw this dude earlier this week on Louis Stevens just outside of work.

I haven't seen it in the parking lot since last Friday. I am determined to track him/her down.

She seemed to;)
Are joined up with ONSC crew?
@pawwright is out your way.

I used to live in Hendersonville, a bit closer. Down the mountain in Chesnee SC now. We still have property in Edneyville, on the mountain.

So who is the Red/burgundy 80 i honked at and stalked on Sharon road going towards 70? Great rig, nicely built. We were going shooting at the Triangle shooting academy behind the wally world

One sighting was not a Toyota - it's hard to make out in the first two pics, but it's a Jeep Grand Cherokee WK - being pushed off of the ferry in Ocracoke last week - I was thinking when we took the ferry over that it would suck to break down, especially on the Ocracoke side... Then waiting to get back on, the ferry had all these cars backing up on the ferry to get off so went over and saw it was a dead Jeep, made me laugh as I've been in that position with the same exact model ;)....Horrible pics but the first is of the ferry workers pushing the jeep... Other sighting was a burgundy 80 at the Alamance County Rest Stop on the way back home the other day - I really like that color, wasn't sure if it was anyone's in the club.
