Anyone have a template w dimensions?

I purchased all the components above and will be making that box out of 1x1x11ga tube (just so happens I work at a fab shop!).
I already have the birch ply. The Perko flush mounts were slightly more $10 and change.
One more question: Where did you get your carpet and what did you use to attach it?
I'm putting a sub box in the front of mine and shortening the drawers accordingly. Expanded metal top should allow it to move without damage.
Of course I will post pics.

I'm not sure I'd go 1" as you're going to lose usable drawer space, I think you could go 1/2" and just use some 10ga for 45 degree gussets to stiffen it up, this is what I plan on doing for the next build.

Anyone have a template w dimensions?

I can measure tomorrow but I think the link in post #16 has the dims.

Curious what the OD dimensions on your box were?
I'm using 43Wide x 40 Deep x 10.5" High

Will put a tape on it tonight when I get home.

A 40 drawer may be much easier as you'd really only need one larger one. I suppose if I had the measurements it wouldn't be too bad to do, basically get some 3/4" square tube, make your box, tack slide on each side, run a couple cross members on the bottom for mounting and you'd have it.

Square tube is cheap in 20' sticks and you can weld it with a cheap 110 flux welder, cut it with a cheap grinder with a cut off wheel, and fix your errors inexpensively.

Ultimately I'd like to build the drawers out of 1/8" aluminum with 3/16-1/4" bottom but I haven't had time to set up the TIG or have the metal on hand, with any luck this fall I'll have time to do a complete one in Aluminum and put this one up for sale.

Did you make a napkin dwg or have these dimensions?
The dims on the box are 43 3/4" wide 41 3/4" deep and 10" high.

Just a follow-up, drawers are holding up great and the axe hasn't killed me yet! I highly recommend a drawer solution as its a great place to keep stuff put. My only change would be to add hinges so the tops could be opened without opening the rear gate just incase you found yourself unable to open it you could still get to your stuff.
