Yay, more mystery wires (1 Viewer)

It's fair to say the wiring loom on my 99 has been violated more than a few times. When I got it PO had hacked in the worst and cheapest alarm that money could buy and added all kinds of mystery lights.

If anyone has a clue what has gone on here before I start digging I would love to hear it

I think you need to unwrap the hack wiring back until you find OEM wire colors, as shown on a wiring diagram, and carefully remove all the added, non-stock wiring, tap-a-lines, and crimp connectors. Take many photos along the way, in case you cut that one wire that allows the vehicle to start and run.

pink and purple wires that I see in photo should be door speaker wires, IIRC
a couple decades of opening and closing door will crack and break wires going to door controls. That might explain some of what you have going on down there
