I'm looking at getting the leading ends of my hood, grill trim, fenders, side mirrors, and rocker panels covered with an Xpel paint protection film (clear bra). The Xpel product appears to be well-regarded, but I'm not sure if I should go with the "Xtreme" film (less expensive) or the "Ultimate" film (more expensive).
The installer seems to think the Xtreme would be just fine, but cautioned that leaving bug guts on the Xtreme film for a few hot days in the sun might leave little brown marks.

Has anyone had any direct experience with these films?

Thanks for your time.

I've got one of those films (just not sure which one - probably Extreme) on the :princess:'s sedan.

Have had it on for 3 1/2 years.

It's held up very well. It helps to wash it shortly after long or buggy trips. But even then, the shield comes clean with a little "elbow grease" a week or two later when washed.
