Title pretty much states it.

Are the door hinges of an FJ55 interchangeable front door to rear door on the same side?

I just received a package including rear door hinges and half the front. The hinges front and rear looked the same but it could be a case of rose tinted glasses clouding my vision

John the ones on my 7/70 all matched up and all had that triangular / arrow sorta shape per each side of the hinge. The ones on my 7/75 on the front have a flat rectangular tab side and a triangular side on the lower springloaded hinge. But the holes for the bolts match up either way. I have not looked at that rectangular tab thickness in comparison though.

John, just went out and looked at my pulled doors. Brett is, of course, 100% correct. My lowers are the ones matching up not the uppers...big difference in bolt spacing rear uppers to front uppers. Oddly, some old MarkII hinges (lower) that I pulled appear to match my lowers as well. I really have not seen a problem develop with uppers? maybe wearing loose a bit but the spring lowers are the ones I have had to replace.

Brett has his hinge jig yes? if not I will look at my Driver upper tomorrow and see what shape it is in.

Third option , SOR sells them rebuilt and ready for paint and mounting, I should say they did... have not checked in a while.

John will be another tomorrow. Came home and promptly sprained my ankle. Batting a thousand lately on all fronts.
