my guess is normal ole female ends(.25") will fit the male ends on the switch

besides another harness, I cant imagine there is the correct generic plug out there for it

Is there a later model Toyota that will work from the junkyard? Like a corola of similar year?

Other than brake boosters, screws and bolts I've never found anything in the junkyard that crosses over to a cruiser.

You could put them all on the switch, with leads attached, then gob some epoxy to make a MacGyver plug.

My question is what are my choices for getting a plug that will fit that? I think your chances are pretty good for being so cool and hanging on to that seat for me LOL PM me your email address and I will send pics of what I have

with a few minutes at the junkyard, and a pair of dykes, you can easily find a 6 pin connector on an early toyota car. look under the dash, they seem to be in the best shape. cut it off with enough pigtail, and use a paper clip to take the terminals out of the plastic plug. reorganize the wires however you want and presto a correct plug.

Its not any special plug, just grab the typical 6 pin plastic plug... I grab them all the time from junkyard cars just for the simple fact that the plasitc crumbles with age, so I have replacements in the future.

here's a pic for you from my 12/'71

only four wires going into it. red, red/white, and 2 greens. green are about 16 ga, while the red's are about 12 ga.

Hope that helps. BTW, the plug doesnt need the tabs on the wire end, so you should have no prob finding a suitable plug. if you have other wiring harnesses around, you could use the one from the smog computer...

It seems like the tailight plug on a 79 and newer mini truck might possibly fit.

Save yourself a lot of grief and upgrade your headlights to halogen. Round Eyes comes to mind. If the new headlights don't include the plug, go to any parts store and buy a headlight plug that fits the halogen lamp. Splice it into your harness and call it good.
