So for years now, my front passenger side glass window would rattle around with the glass lowered all the way down.
I finally removed the door card a while ago to see what was causing it.
I noticed that the channel where the glass guides itself down in was missing part of the rubber run. (see Pic #1) I thought maybe the whole thing was missing, but it's not, but what funny is that it seems like the rubber run stops halfway down the channel, but it doesn't look cut.
The existing rubber run is a long piece that goes all the way around the interior perimeter of the door. but stops short of the bottom stop of the metal channel (see Pic #2)
When I ordered the part it called for the part number in Pic #3 highlighted in yellow
Something seems off as the replacement part number 68143-90A0 1 is too short to go from the bottom of the metal run and all the way around the interior perimeter of the door.
Picture #4 shows where the existing rubber ends and how much of the metal channel guide is without rubber (causing the rattling of the window when lowered all the way down.
Can anyone shed any light on this conundrum?
