You may already be aware of this so I may be wasting my breath, but the newer doors are quite a bit thicker than the old doors. I retro'd a 73 with newer doors that had a full cage and they hit at the front roll bar posts. I had to cut out the straight front cage and install a newer style cage that bended inward. Something to consider if you have a family cage.
