WTB in N. Seattle a running 40

I just sold my last Fj. I need a daily commuter for 2 mi. each way through the winter. I will care for it carefully and work on it all next summer (I teach). $3000 would be perfect. $4500 would be a stretch. I recognize the improbability of finding this, but where I used to live the saying was, "asking is not stealing". Thanks

how about a 55?

I have admired the 55's a lot. My problem is that I'm afraid they might be really difficult to maintain. I can do the basics, like a valve job, and I do a mean paint job, but I heard the the bits and pieces for the 55's were difficult to find. Is that true. Do you have photos. if so send them to dchapin@seattleacademy.org Thanks
