Looking for first gen 4Runner, prefer 1985. Must be 22RE and 5 speed. No autos/V6 please. Will consider IFS models if very clean. I would even consider working a deal with my 100 series Land Cruiser if that is of interest. I am in north Texas but will travel for the right vehicle.

If you know of one for sale please let me know! Thanks MUD!

There was a nice looking one on pirate4x4 but it is in WA.

Stock is fine, or a mild build would be ok. I'm not looking to do anything crazy. I've seen the one you posted, it's been on and off eBay several times. Not sure what the story is on that.

Yes, LOVE that one. I thought it just sold on eBay for 10,200. Why are all of these 4runners in Washington? Lol

83k miles. All original. Just did the front brakes today. Doing the rears this week. Brand new BFG K02's. Have to check radio and power antenna as neither are working but I suspect it's nothing that cannot be easily fixed. All paperwork 100% legit on state and federal levels.

what do you have for a 100 series?
I have a 99, river Rock green mica over tan interior. Weathertech mats all 3 rows, BFG KM2s with about 2k miles on them. Has rear locker, rear AC, no factory roof rack or spoiler, zero rust NM/TX truck. Stock besides tires. 170k miles, t-belt maintenance done at 100k, heater hose t's done recently also.

You are not looking for anything built up are you? My 85 4runner has served me extremely well, but I really would enjoy a larger rig since I have 2 boys and one on the way.

85, lifted, 35s, 4.88s, dual-cases w/ sky manufacturing skid, 22re rebuilt by myself about 20k miles ago, Custom F/R bumpers I build, and have rock sliders built just need to be welded on.
Rear axle: air locker (e locker converted by myself), custom rear discs, wider rear axle, rotated perches for heavy wall rear driveshaft w/ Dual Cardan Joint
Front axle: chromo birfs and hub gears, upgraded brakes w/ IFS hubs, diff armor and gusseted, square driveshaft
Trans was rebuilt by the previous owner just before I bought it; 5spd W56, shifts perfect
Tcases are stock gearing, but duals really make wheeling an enjoyable experience.

Truck performs well, and I daily drive it - 65 to 70mph is the sweet spot. I did all the body repairs myself, and painted the whole truck w/ bedliner. I've even got a 3rz on my engine stand that is a perfect candidate for this truck.
