If your transmission was stock for the year you are inquiring about, it would have a spacer. @3_puppies just used a common, shorthand way of referring to the difference between the two.

I have them. $150 a pair plus actual shipping. Shipping from 83647 to OH isn't going to be cheap though.

For clarity the length changed 4/85 in the US. 8/84 the flange pattern changed. The front drivesahaft had a Double Cardan 10/82-4/85. So there is two different lengths but complete driveshafts there are four versions.

Dealing with other markets driveshafts it gets even more complicated.
