A friend is looking for a 94 or newer FJ80 in the NC/VA/SC area. Truck does not need to have lockers and mileage around 150K or less. He is looking to spend $10,500 or less I know alot will say look at autotrader.com and i have sent that information to him. Just trying to help a fellow cruiser owner get into another one. Any help/information on ones in the area would be great. I know i have seen quite a few on the board but many have been located in the west. Thanks again

Did you see the '94 in the N&O this morning? They may come down to $10,500.

Subject: [80] For sale, '94 80 series, loaded

I have a '94 80 series for sale. It used to live in Utah, but now lives
in North Carolina.
Here we just don't have the opportunity to get out and use it where it
deserves to be (on
the dirt rather than pavement). $9,400 obo. Here are the details:

Features:
- OME suspension, 2" lift (medium duty)
- ARB front bumper
- Warn 9K winch, tested recently and in good working shape
- BRAND NEW Yokohama Geolander tires (285/75R16), plus a spare set of
BF Goodrich all terrain T/A with about 20k miles on them (same size)
- Kaymar rear bumper, gas can carrier, tire carrier
- Rear Toyota electric locker, installed by DJ's Traction Systems in
SLC, UT. (this was an
expensive project)

Info:
- Lightly used for offroad - nothing more than class 3, and only about 6
trips
- Light tan cloth interior.
- We are the second owners. Almost all our miles are highway miles.
- Body is in decent shape, but some scratches from brush and rock chips.
No obvious
body rust.
- The Kaymar bumper has some rust issues, particularly the gas can
holder. Needs
repainting. The light sockets in the Kaymar also have some corrosion,
and need
replacement (right side doesn't work).
- Color is dark green
- 130k miles. All add-ons were installed at about 90k miles.
Purchased at 87k miles from
Houston, TX. All fluids replaced on purchase (transmission, steering,
brake, differentials).

Will gladly send pictures on request.
Morgan

I have seen the one that you have mentioned here, the guy that bought my 80 was also looking at that one, i know she will take $8400 for it, but my friend is looking for something a little more family oriented i believe. Someone should snatch this cruiser though, take the rear bumper off and sandblast it. Buff it or just use it for a trail truck that is what it was built for.
