i am looking for a new daily. Need something that doesn’t need a lot of work and has minimal rust. I am located in SoCal and willing to travel for the right truck.

Have 15-17k but obviously the less I spend the better

You should be able to get something decent for $15-$17K.

There are several here in the classified section that are in your area.

Are you willing to travel to get one or have one shipped? You might want to put that in your add so others know how to help look for you.

only caution from me would be to make sure it will pass your CA smog if buying out of state

Good point. Scratch Buster off the list. He is breathing freely without smog. That means I keep him for a little while longer.
 
I believe all FJ62's that were brought into the USA were CA spec smog legal. The trick is whether or not the equipment was tampered with. The one I just picked up was from Nevada and has all the CA smog stuff intact.
