Looking for a decent 60 or 62 located near the midwest as I live in Chicago. Willing to travel if you have the right one. Stock preferred but mild mods are fine. No huge lift kits.

I'd prefer a 60 but a nice 62 will do just as well. Stock meaning no dropped in V8 or 6 inches of lift. Mild mods are fine but I still like that classic stock look.
As for the one in Tenn, it's a bit more than I would like to spend.

What kind of condition are you looking for? Turn key or a project fun rig?
I picked up a 83 60 about a month or so ago. It is burning a bit of oil right now but the compression isn't bad. I may swap a different head on it and run it. Overall it is decent but a couple spots of rust on it but not too bad. It drives down the road at 70+ without any weird noises or shakes and the 4wd and all work fine.
I really don't have real use for it and I have been thinking of selling it to someone who can use it better. I'd let it go for cheap if you were interested. I am in Southern Wi to boot.

I think I may have what you want. My vehicle is stock and matching numbers. It is the original 2f motor with 4spd 87 fj60. It has 256k miles on it but you would never know. Apart from stock the only thing that has been added is a front brush guard and rear tail light guards, and instead of the 60s series mirrors I have added the 62 series mirrors. Please call me at 256-797-2470. I am asking 4900 obo. I will get some pictures up tonight or tommorrow. Oh and one other thing it is rust free and has never been up north or to the beaches.

D'Animal - I could not find anything on your link. I am interested in all of them and wish to see some pics although I prefer something a bit closer to home than Cali.

To all of you that have responded, thank you for your help.
However, there is one thing I should have mentioned. I have had knee surgeries (1 ACL, 1 Patella tear) and therefore need an Automatic. I know that eliminates most of the potentials out there but I have to play with the cards dealt me!
