84 FJ60 w/ V-8 and 5sp for sale in Texas $4500

I've got a 84 FJ60 with 202K on it for sale. It's located in Mansfield Texas. I installed a rebuilt Austrailian 5sp and transfer case about 3 years ago. (Has about 30K on it since installation) It also has a 1995 Chevy 5.7L with TBI. Motor was installed at about 110K. I've put a new radiator and replaced the condensor, after hitting a Deer in Tennessee. The hood was relaced as well and is a little different color than the body. There is some rust on the tailgate and around the Drivers side rear wheel well. New A/C compressor and all new hoses were installed last summer. A/C works great. Knuckles were rebuilt earlier this year and the front brakes were replaced at the same time. If you'd like to see some photos' just get me an E-mail address or drop me a line at mgfan58@REMOVETHIShotmail.com. Don't forget to remove the REMOVETHIS from the address.:) Price is $5000. (That's less than the cost of the Transmssion, Transfer case, and V-8 conversion kit) I'd trust this vehicle enough to drive it anywhere and it has been my DD for the last 6 years. I'm only getting rid of it because it's being wasted now. Living where I do I never got to put it to good use. I just hate seeing it set around and not being enjoyed any more.

Unfortunately I have no way of knowing since I bought it from the second owner since the conversion was done. There is a lot of info on the receipt but it doesn't list that anywhere. I do know that it still runs great, doesn't smoke, or make any unusual sounds when running.

My Cruiser was traded in for a Range Rover, bought by a Toyota Salesman for his son, and then sold because his son was going off to college and bought an economy car to travel back and forth in.

Might also be interested in a trade for a Bass/Ski Boat or a couple of Personal Watercraft. Can't afford to put any money into anything at this time so it would have to be an even swap.

Come on folks, I've had a lot of E-mails but not many serious looks. I need to sell this Cruiser, and I'd like to sell it to a Cruiser Lover, but it's about to go on Autotrader. Give it another look and see what you think. I can E-mail photos of anything you want to see.

I would need a couple of Watercraft to keep everyone happy. So it would probably have to be a little older model. Thank's for the offer though. We had a 94 XP an 95 GTX. Had to get rid of them, in 1999, to help finance a house purchase. :frown: We've really missed spending time at the Lake with the kids.

It's a three seater with the 951cc Rotax. :D

Had some friends with either a 99 or 2000 GTX. It was very fast and a lot of fun. Unfortunately, even with a 3 seater, the wife or I would be land locked. 2 adults and 2 kids equal 2 watercraft or a Boat. Thanks again.

Post Some Pictures!

Point me in the direction of the instructions, or just tell me how to do it. I've never tried to post photos in a Forum before. I'm sure it's not that difficult. Otherwise I'll just continue to send out photos when I get an E-mail request.
