WT Build a 90

I live in the states and the closest thing to a prado or 90 that we have is a Lexus GX 470.

I want to build one up, it would be truely unique around here. but can i do it?

Mostly what i want to know is can i fit an ARB for a 2003 Prado on an American spec 2003 Lexus GX470?

Does that make sense?

The GX 470 is actually a 120 series Prado, and it has more in common with the FJCruiser, 4th gen 4runner and 2003+ Prado than with the 90 series.

I'm not sure if the bumper is an exact fit on the sides (where it meets the fenders) but it should be pretty close.

Back in 2004 FOUR WHEELER mag built one and wheeled it on the Rubicon. I'll Google it to see if I can find anything online.

For the record, the closest thing to a 90 series in the USA is a 3rd gen 4runner. Same platform, built on the same plant in Tahara, Japan. Most ARB and OME products sold for the 3rd gen 4runner were designed for the 90 series. In fact, I just bought a 2000 4runner and I'm swapping my OME suspension, ARB locker and 4.30 gears to it, everything fits perfectly!

Here's a 120 series Prado with an ARB bull bar.i think you can do it.

See what I mean about the shape of the fenders? in any case it should be a very close fit. I'd call ARB, I'm sure they've ran into similar cases before.
