wring a vdo tachometer?

Hi,

I have to following setup in my car (1hd-t) to charge the battery.

I also have a VDO Tachometer 333-035-003G

As

I am not an electrician,
Is it possible to wire this tachometer somehow to the alternator?
Or should I look for another solution?
