wou .. that's a really good deal .. !

That is a nice looking tire. It surely is amazing that folks are reporting quiet road noise. Might just have to give these a try

Where in Delaware did you get them? I'm going up there for the holidays and need new tires. I have to take advantage of it since they have no sales tax up there.

PM sent.

Hey Kurt,

You got a pic of those tires on your cruiser? I am planning on getting that same size for mine which currently doesn't have a lift on it yet.
Thanks

:clap:Damn you!! Thats what I paid for 4 mount/balance...no alignment. Although I work at a collision center so alignment will be free for me.

Had mine out in the snow for the first time today. It was slushy and the back roads were slick but the duratracks did great. I did a couple of sudden stops in a safe place, the tires behaved predictably and I was surprised at how much grip they exhibited.

Thumbs up all round so far...

I now have a couple of thousand miles on both sets of Goodyear Duratrac tires.

Wife's Red '96: 265/75R16 - No noise - no complaints from the:princess:. Handles great on road/interstate/gravel/rain/shine/snow.

My Grey '96: 315/75R16 - Very little noise - hard to tell since I have a louder 3" exhaust. Smooth as silk - no bouncing, so they have held balance. They have held the road great even on the snow storm I got caught in leaving Golden. I had to stop 4 times between Golden and the NE border to clear the 1.5" of solidified slush off my headlights - but the tires held the road. Did a tiny bit of sand wheeling with them - about an hour on lake McConaughy. No problems, no almost stucks, nada - and I didn't bother to deflate them.

So far these are fitting their billing. I'm impressed. Now they need to make them in 9.0R16 and other military sizes - just to make me jealous.

What psi did you run in the snow? Is that same or different from day to day driving?

-KK

im running whatever psi they put in em when I got them lol. havent bothered checking....

i usually run about 32 when i fill them though.

i have about 7000km on mine so far. they seem to be holding up great with no chunking or uneven wear.

Anymore insight on wear for these Duratracs boyz? Gonna pull the trigger these or Nitto Terras in the near future. Any other issues pop up since you put them on?

Put a set on my daughters:princess: 4Runner several weeks ago, no tags on the truck yet but i had to take it out a couple of times in all the deep snow we have had, Happy to report that I trust these tires completely for my 16 year old driver.
Thats about the highest compliment i can give any tire!

I agree. I have had these for about two months and love them. I have only driven highway and dirt, snow & ice covered roads with them though, no mud.

They are quietand have great grip. According to ScanGauge II, I am getting about a 1 MPG increase in fuel efficiency but thaat is before I put in the Slee Speedo correction gear.

I ordered a set of these in the 315-75-16 variety. They should be on my doorstep by today actually, will be awhile before I get them on but am looking forward too it.

My driving in snow thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/363344-duratracs-snow.html

I drove with them during some serious downpours and rain that lasted for several hours at hwy speeds a month or more ago. Lots of water on the road and I was VERY pleased with how well they stuck to the pavement in those conditions. Never any feeling of them breaking loose etc.

I've only got just over 2k miles on mine and obviously they look like new.

cheers,
george.
