Hi All,
This forum came highly recommended from a couple friends of mine.
I bought this 1978 FJ40 from my uncle, it's a rusty old girl that looks to have spent it's entire life in the Midwest.
The good; it runs and drives, stops, has a title and hasn't been molested at all.
The bad; it is rusted everywhere and rusted through most everywhere.
My ideal scenario, unless someone has a better idea, would be to find a FJ or a BJ 40 that doesn't have a title or is just a roller with a good frame and body that I could swap over the driveline, mechanical components and glass over to.
Or maybe I sell it to someone else to do the same thing with a clean chassis that they have?
Here is how it looks and some of the rusty bits. I put the steel wheels and hubcaps on it with the 31" bfg's. It came to me with the old school 15x10 Jackman aluminum wheels. as shown in the other pics.
