Just got my 45 and of course the wiring is a nightmare, will a painlees or like harness fit a 45 with just extending the rear wires some ?

Also its a 64 and needs a carb bad, what do you all reccomend, it has a holley on now.

Thanks

Don't go Painless. It isn't.

Just pull the harness and go through it and fix what needs it. Not like it's complicated or anything.

What engine/manifold does it have? I like my 1 bbl Aisen on the original F 135.

Its got headers and some aftermarket type intake on it.

The wiring is really nasty under the dash and out front, not much works on it, no lights, or anything, but it does run so that is a plus. Not too sure how long it has sat but it started right up and had 40-50 lbs oil pressure and never got hotter than 165.

you could make a harness pretty easy for you 64, I ended up doing just about all of mine on my 65 when I put the 2F in it. there just aren't that many cicuits. sounds harder than it was.

i'm currently working with an ezwire 12 circuit harness. fuse block and all the wiring for $165, but it is a bit short since it's made for the block to be on the left side, not the right.
