does trollhole sell em? anybody ever put one in with a stock column? alot of them say for gm column. If i wanted gm parts i would have bought a blazer.

no but b more specific. What do u need a wiring harness for exactly??

the whole truck im tired of chasing electrical gremlins

Painless wiring harness is your best bet.

Doesn't Coolerman on here rebuild harnesses if you want to stay all stock?

Otherwise Painless is the only option. And yes, you will have trouble trying to get the turn signals to work. You could always buy an Ididit column and it will be plug and play. Would be a good time to hook power steering up to it, and let the snowball effect take off.

the P.O. did some hacking and splicing and it causes occasional failure. yesterday my starter went out and while i was fooling with that smoke came from under the dash. I pulled my harness covering off and traced the wire. It changed color twice where he hacked it and ended up at the accell ignition coil where it was shorting when the coil was hooked up. So now im putting my stock style coil back on and we shall see what happens when i get my starter back this afternoon.

i've got a painless installed on my 40. was put on by the po.

it's an effing rats nest under the dash and i hope i never have to go under it for ANY reason.

but my signals work. Had issues with them at first like i did with everything else on the 40 but it was not thru the fault of the PO(s) or the painless kit, it was just a bad ground.
