I have the wiper arms only and was told that the wiper motors still can be ordered. Does anyone know if all I have is the arms, is the motor the only item I need or is there something else I have to buy?

It's my once a day idiot question to ask...

I hope thats all you need, because that is last on my to do list and its all I got.:meh:

I have newer anco arm's and blades that I ordered years ago from SOR. They came with a few post adaptors, but nothing fancy. If your using your OEM arms I would assume that they slip right on the post and tighten with a set screw.

I ordered new motors for my resto. and they bolted straight on.

There are 2-3 bolts that hold it to the winshield, and I think a washer between the arm and the motor, but no other parts I am aware of. I have a 65 and 3 wiper motors (only one currently works), so if you successfully get them, post up.

The TNK wiper motors only use one phillips screw on the inside of the windshield and one nut on the threaded shaft on the outside to hold it on. I have seen a FJ25 that had TNK wipers that were different and it had two screws on the inside. It only had two wires instead of three. Not sure how they worked because the guy never took them apart to figure out what was wrong.

These wiper motors are pretty easy to rebuild. I've only had one I couldn't get rebuild and that was only because it was missing a part.

Aren't we supposed to be talking about stock vacuumn wiper motors? John P#3

You didn't notice we moved this thread to what was stock on FJ25s imported to the 50th state. I've seen some old lit that had these on FJ25s.

Now if I were to say I have a set of TNK wipers that are designed to mount the opposite way that I think were off a RHD early FJ40 that would not be PC for the 25 forum:rolleyes:
