We arrived just after the first heavy rain on Saturday. By 3 o'clock or so, I wanted to at least try trail 14, so we tried, but even the slightest slope was impossible. I winched at least 2 times on the first couple rocks and then almost slid down sideways in my attempt to turn around. We tried to take trail 2 back to camp and I got "stuck" in slick mud that was only a inch or two deep. At that point we backtracked trail 2 all the way to the dirt track. The best part was definitely the campfire and hanging out.
We were planning to leave up on Friday morning, but we saw the forecast stating "90% precipitation" for Sparta, so I decided to play the odds. The Queen and I ended up wheeling outside of Madison on some old logging trails and had fun breaking in the "Blue Mistress." 'Hope to see you all at GSMTR. If anyone plans to drive and camp up in north Georgia beforehand, just let us know.
I had a great time with y'all this weekend, and I definitely look forward to getting a chance to ride again. I hopefully will be purchasing a lift this weekend. And so the addiction continues.

Rick, any of y'alls videos posted up anywhere? Not that I'm all that excited about being reminded of how bad we all got denied, but I think the vids will be interesting to watch.

WOW, that place gets unfriendly after it rains. I would love to have been there to watch, but I am glad we sat this one out. The little
