windshield wiper motors

I have a 1962 fj40 with a bad wiper motor. I wouldn't be surprised if the motor is a cross over part from a fj25. I was just wondering if you fj25 guys had figured out some kind of replacement motor.

The part number is in the part num ber thread for new wiper motors, but we may have bought the stock out already

I did see a cheaply made Jeep wiper motor in JC Whitney that may work. I did have a set a few years back but never installed them in a Cruiser so I cant say if they fit.

The JC part just might work, until I find another motor. I've considered repairing my wiper motor but the tip of the armature where the brushes touch is damaged.
