Called Cruiser Dan today to see if he had a windshield gasket for my 1967 FJ40. He doesn't have a part book for that year - only goes back to 1969. Anyway, he said the '69 used a two part system (part number 56121-60001 and 50122-60011).

Anyone know if this will work for a '67? Are the windshields that different from the later model years?

Any help is appreciated.
Joe

I just did this on my 1969. Spector shows 1965-1974 as the same. The gasket is one piece, but there is a narrow "key" that goes on the front side after the glass is installed.

A narrow key? Is this a insert that goes into the gasket?

Yes. #3 in this SOR drawing is the gasket, #4 is the key.

They sell the exact same gasket and key at my local glass shop for about .25 per foot. They use it for tractors.
Good luck Albee

It's not a molded like the OEM, to the fram one piece with a rubber key ?

rather a cut to fit rubber gasket with a key ?

Would like to see...

'69 Gasket From CDAN

Thanks for all the info...I talked to CDAN and he was able to get me the gaskets (2 parts as described above). OEM, so I am hoping this will be an easy fix.
