Man do i have a doozy for everyone that reads this. My last ditch effort before i pulled all the trim on my OEM windshield because of noise was to install a bug deflector. My thoughts on this were simple, i thought maybe it would deflect wind from the hood up and over the truck, there by erasing the turbulence that was occuring. I installed the OEM deflector tonight went for a ride and it was quite as a mouse. I was not believing it so i got my brother to ride with me (he knows all about the noise). Nothing. 75mph and no whistle. Hopefully someone here will read this and give an explanation because i dont know. Now im just worried maybe my windshield still has a leak and i still need to remove the trim and search for it, although ive never had water leaks. Or should i just call it good, until i hear it again? Thankyou.

Hmmm. I wish that I had looked for this subject a couple of weeks ago. I had my windshield replaced in Austin on the 11th and have had to take it back to the shop due to the wind noise. They've given it a couple of shots and it's improved, but the noise is still there. They're going to give it another try this week when I can get it over to them. I wasn't aware of the rivets and will mention them to the shop.

Thanks!
