Probably could replace some sheet metal if money was no object. Problem is, the metal that needs replacing is in a terrible spot. Where all that metal meets in the top corner would require some pretty extensive knowledge and work. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the silicone holds up!
 
I'm doing my 04 this spring. Nervous about how bad it will look underneath, but (knock on wood) no leaks are apparent on either A pillar bases. Just the rust starting to form on the top corner (both sides)

 
After having my rust around the windshield repaired it took the shop 3 attempts to seal the windshield properly. I was without the truck for 6 weeks, it was a pain. Get the instructions from this site on how to carry out the install to aid them with how to do it properly.

I'm gearing up to do just this repair - can anyone help direct to the windshield install process thread? Having trouble pulling it up.
