Window switch lights (2 Viewers)

I recently purchase am 08 and love it. It's my 3rd lc and best yet! Before this I had a gl450 which is an absolute POS....

I have a question about the drive side window switches though - when the headlights are on, the only switch that illuminates is the driver window and door lock. Are the switches for all windows in the drivers pod supposed to illuminate?

On my 2009 driver's door, all four windows switches and the door lock button are illuminated, the window lock-out button is not. The driver's door switch is a bit brighter than the other three window switches. Not sure if that was something they added for 2009 though; I suspect the 2008 switches should also be lit similarly.

I wish the seat memory switches were lit up too. Unless mine don't work anymore.

In my 2013 it is exactly the same - only the driver's door switch and the door lock are illuminated.

On my '13 all switches light up unless you lock the windows then only drivers window switch is illuminated and functional

You are absolutely correct, Nomad

I never noticed it before, but when the window lock is engaged, only the Driver's window switch is illuminated, but when unlocked, all the window switches are illuminated.

Speaking of interior switch lights, is my '08 the only one that doesn't illuminate the map and dome light switches (by the sunroof)? It seems odd that Mr. Toyota wouldn't illuminate four switches that you would frequently need to find in the dark.

Nope, my 2013 does not illuminate them either. I am always worried that I'll hit the SOS button instead of the light switches.
